Please read the following information carefully before filling out a Guest Rider packet.
Fire Department Guest Riders:
- All guest riders are required to submit an approved Guest Rider Program Information Packet, Emergency Contact Form, and signed Release of Liability.
- Submit a letter of interest (one to two paragraphs in business format) telling us about yourself and the reason for your request (e.g. enrolled in an EMT program, Fire Cadets, etc.).
- To be considered for a ride along, all applicants must be at least 18 years old or enrolled in an approved youth program (i.e. Fire Cadets).
- All ride along requests should be sent to riders@shorelinefire.com and received at least 21 days in advance of requested date, and no more than three months in advance. There is a 7-10 day processing time before notification of approval.
- All riders must comply with our Code of Conduct and Patient Confidentiality Requirements noted in the Rider Packet
- Please note, Firefighter candidates who have a scheduled interview with Shoreline Fire Department will not be permitted to ride until after the interview process is completed.
